Obituary: "Marshal D. Mercier, 74, of Woodview Circle in Port Washington, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Columbia St. Mary Hospital - Ozaukee Campus in Mequon, Wisconsin. He was born July 6, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Marshal E. and Clara Mrotek Mercier. He served in the United States Army as a corporal during the Korean War. After his service he worked for Square D Company and Briggs and Stratton Manufacturing Company both located in Milwaukee for many years. Marshal lived in Germantown for over 30 years, was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and a lifetime member of Germantown Memorial Veterans of Foreign War Post 9202 and the Second Infantry Korean War Alliance. In 2001 he moved to Port Washington and became a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, volunteering as a sacristan. Marshal enjoyed gardening and reading. He is survived by relatives and friends.
Reverend Bernard Sippel will celebrate Mass Of Christian Burial 11 am Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204 N11924 Goldendale Road, Germantown, Wisconsin. Interment Parish Cemetery. Visitation 9:30 - 11 am Tuesday AT CHURCH."

Obituary: "George A. Moersfelder, 87, of West Bend, formerly of Jackson, died on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at Cedar Community. He was born on Jan. 24, 1915 in West Bend, to the late Alexander and Olga (nee Nauth) Moersfelder, and married Anita Bon Aug. 15, 1940. She passed away on Oct. 29, 1975. He then married Mildred Won Jan. 1, 1978. She preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 1997. On June 11, 1998, he married Mabel G. Following his marriage to Anita, George served in the United States Navy during World War II. Following his discharge, the couple settled in Rockfield.
He had a passion for baseball and helped organize teams in Rockfield and Germantown in the 1950s. George was a welder at A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for 35 years and taught Sunday School for many years in Dheinsville and Germantown. In 1977 he moved to Jackson where he lived until 1998 when he moved to West Bend. George loved gardening and woodworking. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Germantown, the Lincoln Masonic Lodge 183 and the Smith Steel Workers Union 19806.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel; two sons, Alan (Rose Ann) of Arlington Heights, Ill. and Ronald (Pamela) of Burlington; five grandchildren, Dan (Anna) of Palatine, Ill., John of Arlington Heights, Matthew of Augusta, Ga., Tim of La Crosse and Mark of Burlington; a sister, Barbara (Emery) Kust; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Helen Wilke, Marie Schlief and Beverly Wagner; and a brother Norwin.
Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Jackson. Pastor William Gruenstern will officiate, and burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Christ Church Cemetery, Dheinsville. Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 3 p.m. until the Masonic services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Cedar Community."
