      "Robert G. Fellenz, 72, of New Port Richey, Florida, USA died on Thursday, May, 2003 at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey. He was 72 years of age. Robert was born on 13 June 1930 in Kewaskum, Washington County, Wisconsin to Anton Fellenz and Barbara Hausmann. He married Audrey Krueger. Robert moved to New Port Richey 31 years ago from Miami. He was the owner of Fellenz Roofing. Robert was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a life member of the Marine Corps League 567, Holiday Detachment, New Port Richey, a member of the American Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10757, Tarpon Springs; the Amvets Post 98 and the American Legion Post 79, both of Holiday; the Moose Lodge 2366, New Port Richey; the Egypt Temple Shrine and the Scottish Rite, both of Tampa; and the York Rite, Clearwater. He was survived by two faughters. Funeral services were held at Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, New Port Richey, with burial in that same city.

Ralph Fellenz

      Ralph Fellenz, of Kewaskum, Washangton County, Wisconsin, USA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, 22 December 1999 at St. Joseph Community Hospital, West Bend. He was 63 years of age. Ralph was born 28 June 1936 in the town of Scott to Edgar and Irene (Klein) Fellenz. Mr. Fellenz served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Regal Ware Inc. in Kewaskum where he was a member of the 25-Year Club. Robert was survived by two children. Preceding him in death were a grandson, Andrew Phillip Fellenz and a sister, Mavis Krell. Private funeral services were held on Tuesday, 28 December at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Cremation followed with inurnment in Lutheran Memorial Park of that same city.

Kenneth Earl Stewart

M, b. 14 September 1916, d. 13 August 2010
      Kenneth Earl Stewart was born in Peotone, Will County, Illinois, USA on Tuesday, 14 September 1916, the son of Charles and Flora (Roberts) Stewart. He was among the youngest of 10 children. Ken worked and traveled throughout the western United States during the Great Depression and was eventually drafted into the United States Army at the beginning of World War II. He fought in France, Belgium and Germany and was discharged at the end of the war. Using the GI bill he went on to college and obtained a doctor of optometry degree. While at college in Chicago he met Mary McKenna. They were married on Saturday, 28 January 1950, and located to Hartford, Washington County, Wisconsin. They raised five children and lived in Hartford for the next 59 years. During this time, Ken worked his optometric practice, was a devout member of the First United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Rotary. Family was the most important part of his life.

Ken enjoyed traveling the world with Mary, golfing, hunting, reading and going for walks. Mary departed this life on Monday, 30 March 2009. After the passing of his beloved wife, Ken left Wisconsin for the last time and lived contentedly for the remainder of his life with his daughter Jackie in Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico. On Friday, 13 August 2010, Ken died of congestive heart failure. He was 94 yeares old. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his nine brothers and sisters; and great-grandson, Breone. Visitation was on Friday, 20 August 2010 at the First United Methodist Church, 738 W. Monroe Street, Hartford.

Marion was survived by three children. She was a proud Navy WW II veteran and active member of Waves National Badger Unit 39. Special thanks to all the wonderful people who enabled Marion to continue to live independently in recent years. Visitation was on Wednesday, 07 July 2010 followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Avenue, Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County, wisconsin. It was Marion's wish that her body be cremated.

Alvin J. Barutha

      Alvin J. Barutha of Kewaskum, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday 20 July 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in the town of Polk. He was 87 years of age. Alvin was born on 06 October 1932 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County, the son of Frank and Frances (Zinda) Barutha. On 03 June 1972, he was united in marriage to Charleen Vetter Dreher at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Alvin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a faithful, dedicated member of the Kewaskum Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384. He was also a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Campbellsport.

Alvin will fondly be remembered for his love of golfing, deer hunting and the enjoyment he received from occasional gambling outings. Those he leaves behind are his wife, Charleen, and three children. In addition to his parents, Alvin was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters and his father and mother-in-law, Ruben and Veila Vetter. Funeral services were held on Thursday, 29 July 2010 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Campbellsport, Fond du Lac County where the Reverend Paul Cerny officiated. Military honor guard rites, performed by members of the Kewaskum Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 followed the service. Cremation took place following the traditional service.

Donald Schultz

      Donald Edward Schultz of West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA died Sunday, 09 May 2010, at the Wisconsin Heart Hospital in Wauwatosa. He was 83 years of age. Donald was born 14 April 1927 in Milwaukee, the son of Edward O. and Agnes Schultz, one of three children. He graduated from South Division High School, Milwaukee, in 1945. Donald married Anna R. Braun on 23 January 1954, in Milwaukee. They had two sons, and made their home in West Allis. Alvinz was a local driver for Consolidated Freightways in Milwaukee and Waukesha, Waukesha County for 32 years. He retired in 1988. Alvin and his wife then spent time taking tours and traveling around the country. He enjoyed spending time with his family, league bowling, and working around the house and garden. Alvin was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He was survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna, and their two sons. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his older sister Jacqueline Piskula. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 13 May at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 7626 West Greenfield Avenue, West Allis. Interment followed at Highland Memorial Park.

Lee C. Saeger

      Lee C. Saeger of West Bend, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA passed away at the age of 72 years on Tuesday, 31 August 2010 at the Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk, Polk County. Lee was born on 20 March 1938, in Sheboygan, Sheboygan County to Ervin and Leota (Herzog) Saeger. On 08 September 1968, Lee was united in marriage to Lois Krause in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force before he became an independent locksmith. Lee owned and operated Cedar Safe and Lock until retiring in 2001. Lee was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, the church choir and church council. He was a baseball coach and enjoyed trapshooting and bowling. Lee was also a member of the Daniel Boone Conservation Club. Lee is survived by his wife, Lois Saeger of West Bend, and two children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leota Walthers; and his father- and mother-in-law, Arno and Viola Krause. Funeral services were held on Thursday, 02 September at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4860 Arthur Road, Slinger, Washington County where the Reverend Matthew Short officiated. Visitation was at the church on Thursday. Burial took place on Friday, 03 September in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

Rose P. Wheeler

      Rose P. Wheele (nee Klock) of Powers, Menominee County, Michigan, USA passed away at the age of 96 years on Monday, 30 August 2010 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Rose was born on 16 October 1913, the daughter of Stanley and Anna (Fromholtz) Klock in Ashland, Ashland County. On 29 October 1945, she married Robert Wheeler in Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana while they were both serving in the U.S. Army. Rose was a member of the Powers, Michigan Tony Revord American Legion Post 244 and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She loved cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting and socializing with her friends. Rose also loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be remembered by all who knew her for her great Catholic faith. She is survived by her daughter. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding where Father Emmett Norden officiated. Burial took place in the Spalding Township Cemetery with the Tony Revord American Legion Post 244 assisting with military rites.

Rolo E. Eberhardt

      Rollo E. Eberhardt of Theinsville, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA passed away at the age of 85 years on Saturday, 04 September 2010 at The Cedar Lake Community, West Bend, Washington County. Rolo was born 19 January 1925 on the Eberhardt family farm in the town of Cedarburg, Ozaukee County to the late Ray and Louise (Graefe) Eberhardt. He was united in marriage to Janet Schroeder on 20 May 1961 at Gospel Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County. Rollo was proud of his service in the United States Marines during World War II, where he served in the Fighting Fourth and saw action on Iwo Jima. After the war he helped on the family farm and then began a long career at American Can in Milwaukee. Besides his work, Rollo was active in the American Legion and at Trinity Lutheran Church, Friestadt. He also was an avid gardener and nurseryman. Rollo is survived by faithful friend Doris Krueger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet, and his sister Audrey Eberhardt. A funeral service was held at Trinity Evaangelical Lutheran Church, Freistadt, 10729 W. Freistadt Road, Mequon, Ozaukee County on Thursday 09 September. Interment was at Zur Ruhe Cemetery.

      Leo J. Bruskiewicz passed away Sunday, 05 September 2010, at Kathy Hospice. He was 76 years of age. Leo was born on 26 May 1934 to Casmier and Pauline (Lepak) Bruskiewicz. He married Sylvia Gross on 09 May 1959 in St. Michaels. Leo served in the Korean War in United States Army from 1956-1958. He was proud of his 37 years of dedicated service to American Can Company as a truck driver. Leo loved repairing old tractors and cars, deer hunting, and most of all, spending time with his family. Leo is survived by his wife Sylvia and two children. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law Sally Panzer. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, 08 September 2010, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 West Paradise Drive, West Bend, where Chaplain Cheryl Matusiak presided. Entombment followed that same day at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Lawrence served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was director of Public Works for the city of Hartford for more than 18 years. Lawrence was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Hartford. He enjoyed being outdoors and walking his dog. Lawrence was a canoeist and liked to fish. Lawrence was survived by his loving wife, Gertrude of Hartford and his two children. Graveside service was on Friday, 10 September at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Waukesha County. The Reverend. Dean Natterstad officiated.

Charles Alfred Young

Visitation was at the church up to the time of Mass. Father Mike Barrett officiated. Charles was born on 09 October 1926 in Boscobel, Grant County, the son of Alfred and Lucy (Green) Young. After serving his country in the United States Navy during World War II, Charles finished cosmetology school and opened his own salon in Kohler, Sheboygan County, then Milwaukee, finally opening a shop in Grafton. His other careers included being a railroad fireman and assisting in the production of lawn equipment for Tecumseh Products. Charles loved dancing, refinishing furniture, grilling and landscaping his country home. He was also an avid sports fan. Charles was survived by his beloved wife, Mary Young (Kuenster) of Grafton, and their three children. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kalee Young.

Vern A. Suhr

      Vern A. Suhr, 69, of West Bend, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA passed away peacefully at the age of 69 years with his loving family by his side on Saturday, 11 September 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in West Bend. Vern was born on 25 September 1940 to the late Arnold and Esther (Matzner) Suhr in Gresham, York County, Nebraska. He was raised on his family’s rural farm and graduated from high school in Columbus, Platte County. Shortly after high school, Vern enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. While in the Navy, Vern enjoyed traveling to many different ports including Hawaii and Japan. Following his service in the Navy, Vern worked a variety of jobs before starting his own real estate and appraisal business called Suhr Realty Inc. and Accu-Pro Appraisals Inc. in Milwaukee. On 11 February 1976, Vern was united in marriage to Betty Strackbein Durian in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Together they enjoyed operating their family businesses, traveling and spending time raising emus on their hobby farm in West Bend. In his later years, Vern loved nothing more than being around his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of the Fredonia Lion’s Club and was a member of the Wisconsin Emu Association, the Wisconsin Realtors Association and the Wisconsin Apartment Association. Vern is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Betty, and theirs four daughters and three stepsons. Vern was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Esther Suhr; his stepson, Mark Durian; and his brother, Curtis. A funeral service was held on Thursday, 16 September at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. The Reverend Luke Emrich of New Life Church officiated. Burial was on Friday, 17 September 2010 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Waukesha County.

      Dr. Richard H. Driessel, 94


Dr. Richard H. "Dick" Driessel, M.D., 94, of West Bend, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Cedar Bay West, West Bend.

He was born May 24, 1916, in Barton to the late Sylvester and Lauretta (nee Schmit) Driessel. Dick graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1934. He went on to attend Marquette University School of Medicine, graduating in 1941. Dick was united in marriage to Margaret Otto on Sept. 19, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa. He served his country honorably as a Major in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946 in Africa and later aviation medicine.

Richard was a member of Luxembourg Society of Wisconsin, Luxembourg American Cultural Society, Washington County Historical Society, Barton Historical Society, West Bend Art Museum, Lac Lawrann Conservancy, Adrian Neubauer VFW Post No. 8658, and a supporter of the Kettle Moraine Symphony.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Driessel of West Bend; his son, Kenneth R. Driessel, PhD. of Nevada, Iowa; two grandchildren, Dr. Duncan (Dr. Jennifer) Stearns and Deburah Stearns, PhD; two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Chloe Stearns; one sister, Harriet Driessel Andersen of Fort Atkinson; other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Nancy Driessel Stearns; one brother, Sylvester J. Driessel Jr; and a sister, Kathleen Driessel Holl.

In honor of Richard’s wishes a private family memorial service will be held. Inurnment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery.

      Jacob R. Rothenbach of Slinger, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA died at the age of 91 years on Sunday, 12 September 2010 at his residence. Jacob was born 26 March 1919 in Ackerville to the late Jacob and Alma (Guth) Rothenbach. He married Ruth Yorkson on 20 May 1941 in Neenah, Winnebago County. Ruth preceded him in death in 1967. He then married Laura H. Schwamb on 15 October 1976 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger. Jacob served in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II from 1943 until 1945. He founded Rothenbach Funeral Home and Furniture Store in Slinger in 1941 and operated the business for over 40 years. He was a member of the Slinger Advancement Association, the Slinger-Allenton Rotary Club, the Slinger Zunker-Held Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3358, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the West Bend Lodge 1398 Loyal Order of the Moose. Jacob was survived by his wife, Laura, and two children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Alma; his wife, Ruth; his son, David; his brother, Howard; and his sister, Frieda. Graveside service was held Wednesday, 15 September 2010 at Faith United Church of Christ Cemetery in Ackerville where the Reverend Richard Stoffel officiated.

Juedes of Cedarburg who died at the age of 80 years at Lasata Care Center Wednesday, 08 September 2010. Interment was at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. William was born in Grafton on 25 March 1930, the son of the late Walter and Erna (Hespe) Juedes. He married Mona Heise and they were blessed with five children. William was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and also was a member of the Grafton Rose Harms American Legion Post 355. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg where he taught Sunday School and was an elder of the church. There are many hobbies that William enjoyed such as fishing, bike riding, fixing cars and playing the accordion. He really enjoyed dancing to polkas. William is survived by his wife, Mona; and five children. William was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Juedes.

John E. Zalewski

      John E. Zalewski, 67, of the town of Kewaskum, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA passed away peacefully at the age of 67 years on Thursday, 16 September 2010 at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born on 20 December 1942 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, the son of Thomas S. Zalewski Sr. and Kathryn Schubert. He was raised in Slinger by his aunt and uncle, Everett and Leah Schubert, and was a graduate of Slinger High School, where he was known as John "Jack" Schubert. Following high school, John proudly served his country in the United States Navy from May 1961 to May 1965. On 02 December 1967, he was united in marriage to Diane Schmidt at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. John was a Master Certified ASE Auto Technician. He was employed by Schill Motor in Campbellsport from 1965 to 1973, Schwartzburg Chevrolet and Oldsmobile in West Bend from 1984 to 1992 and Herriges Oil in Kewaskum from 1995 until his illness in 2008. John also owned and operated his own business, J&J Auto Service, in Kewaskum from 1975 to 1983. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and Moose Lodge West Bend 1398. He enjoyed muscle cars, drag racing, horseback riding, riding his Harley motorcycle, camping at Horseman’s Park and had a soft spot for all types of animals. His pride and joy was his 1970 Chevelle, "Little Ditty." He attended many car shows over the years and made many friends at those shows, especially the Grand Larsony Classic Custom Car Show, which was held for John's benefit in 2008. Those Jack leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Diane, and a daughter. Jack was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, LeRoy Schmidt. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Sunday, 19 September at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum where the Reverend Edwin Kornath officiated. Burial with military honor rites by members of the Kewaskum Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 was on Monday in the parish cemetery.

Visitation was held on Thursday, 30 September 2010 at the Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. A Masonic service and American Legion walkthrough took place at the church followed by a memorial service. Interment was on Friday, 01 October at Immanuel Cemetery. Walter was born in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County on 16 July 1933 to Elmer and Elfrieda (Stoeckmann) Kraft. He went to Wisconsin State College to become a teacher, graduating in 1956. Walter then joined the Army and was discharged honorably on 18 July 1958. He married Gloria Hansen on 16 August 1958 at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He and Gloria lived in Milwaukee and Glendale, later moving to Cedarburg in 1974. Walter taught all levels of school in one fashion or another for Milwaukee Public Schools at Hampton School and Burroughs Middle School until his retirement. He was a woodworker. He made knickknacks, did cabinetry and built all but the shell of his Northwoods retreat in Minocqua. Walter enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Victory Lodge No. 0320, Tripoli Shrine Temple, Royal Order of Jesters Court 101 and the Cedarburg Peter Wollner American Legion Post 288. He also was a very faithful and active member of Advent Lutheran Church. Walter was survived by his beloved wife, Gloria J. Kraft and his two children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly Stokes.

Andrew E. Hernikl

      Andrew E. Hernikl of Tomahawk, Lincoln County, Wisconsin, USA passed away at the age of 82 years on Saturday, 25 September 2010 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Andrew was born 26 May 1928, in Newburg, Washington County, the son of Ignatius and Katherine (Agocs) Hernikl. He married Bernice Bykowski on 01 January 1950 in West Bend. Bernice passed away on 26 July 2007. Andrew was employed with Line Material in Barton, where he met his future wife, Bernice, and later worked for Mill Tool & Die in West Bend. He and Bernice moved to Tomahawk in 1989. Andrew was a member of the NRA, member and former officer of the West Bend/ Barton Sportsmans Club, assistant instructor of the Junior Rifle Team and was involved with the Wisconsin Iron Brigade Civil War Reenactment Group. He was also a member of the Lake Nokomis Concerned Citizens, the American Legion and St. Mary Catholic Church, where he also was an active volunteer. He also volunteered his time at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. Andrew was survived by
three children. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernice; and son,Keith. A memorial Mass with military rites was held on Thursday, 30 Septrmber at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.

Joseph P. Moser

M, b. 23 August 1920, d. 01 August 2010
      Joseph P. Moser, 89, of West Bend, Washington County, Wisvonsin, USA passed away at the age of 89 years on 01 August 2010 at Pine Lake. Joseph was born on 23 August 1920 to Fred and Barbara (Gundrum) Moser. On 05 September 1942, he was united in marriage to Marion (MaryAnn) Yogerst. He served in the United States Air Force in World War II. Joseph and Marion farmed in the town of Addison for many years before retiring to Hiles at Pine Lake where he was an avid fisherman. Joseph was a member of the St. Lawrence Voluntary Fire Department, American Legion and a life member of the Moose Lodge. He also worked on the Lake Association at Pine Lake. The couple were members of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and Joe served as an usher and reader for many years. Once retired, they were active in the Hiles and later the Crandon Catholic churches. Joseph was survived by his five children. He was preceded in death by his brothers Alphonse and Vincent and sister Dorothy Moser. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, 06 August 2010 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Hartford where Father Joseph Dominic presided.

Florence Martha Fank

      Florence Martha Frank (nee Schmidt), a funeral service was held on Tuesday, 10 August 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA for Mrs. Fank of Grafton who died at the age of 91 years on Thursday, 05 August 2010. Florence was born in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County on Monday, 17 March 1919, the daughter of Walter and Edna (Beckmann) Schmidt. She served her country as a nurse in the United States Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1946. Afterward, she was a delivery room nurse at Lutheran Hospital. Florence married August Fank in 1947. She gave up nursing to become a stay-at-home mother until her youngest daughter was old enough to attend school. Along the way, Florence and August moved to Grafton in 1952 where August became the owner of Grafton Printer. Church was also an important part of Florence’s life. She was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and Ladies Aid. Florence was also a member of the Ozaukee County Extension Homemaker’s Club. She was an avid reader. Florence was survived by her two daughters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, August, and her son, Robert.

James L. Noeske

      James L. Noeske Sr. of 7th Avenue in Grafton, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA passed away on Friday afternoon, 06 August 2010 at Columbia St. Mary Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon after suffering a cardiac episode earlier in the week. He was 73 years old. His nickname was Fuzzy. James was born in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County on 02 September 1936, son of Edward and Loretta (Krimmer) Noeske. After his schooling Jim served in the United States Army. He was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas, where he worked with the Engineering Corps. Jim was united in marriage with Elenor Pollman on 08 March 1958 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mequon. The couple settled in Glendale, Milwaukee County and later moved to Grafton in 1970, where they raised their family.

James had been employed by the village of Fox Point in the Department of Public Works. He retired in 2001 after 42 years of service. Since 2006 he had been very involved in helping his son, Jim, with his business, Belgium Small Engine Repairs. James had been a 20-plus-year member of the Grafton Fire Department, at one time achieving the rank of "Captain of Engineers." He had always loved "putzing" with anything mechanical and was always willing to help out neighbors and friends with projects. "Fuzzy," or as he was known by the neighbor kids, "Ward," enjoyed yard work, grilling, puzzles and socializing with "the old timers." He was also fond of offering his opinions on the rulings during Court TV segments. Mostly, James enjoyed spending his time with his friends, family and granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Elenor, of Grafton; their two children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Edward Jr. and Ronald Noeske, and two sisters, Phyllis Fehlhaber and Winifred Stalter. A memorial service was held on Friday, 13 August at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 West Grand Avenue in Port Washington, Ozaukee County. Pastor Don Zahurance officiated. The family received visitors at the funeral home on Friday.

Donald R. Schulz

      Donald R. Schulz of Kohlsville, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA passed away at the age of 74 years at his residence on Sunday, 08 August 2010. Donald was born on 29 July 1936 in the town of Addison to Rudolph and Vinelda (Kirchner) Schulz. He attended Kewaskum High School and in November of 1955, joined the United States Navy, where he served for two years. Donald married Mary Ellen Ritger on 25 August 1962 and together they farmed in the town of Wayne. He enjoyed deer hunting, attending auctions and rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Donald was a longtime member of the Kohlsville Fire Department and the Alenton Fohl-Martin American Legion Post 483. He was survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, and eight children. Donald was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, 10 August 2010 at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 West Paradise Drive, West Bend, where the Reverend Steven Bode presided. There was a Kohlsville Fire Department walk-thru followed by a Allenton Fohl-Martin American Legion Post No. 483 walk-thru. Interment took place at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
