"Paul A. Zingsheim, 85, of 217 S. Milwaukee St., Theresa, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1980, at Gateway Nursing Home in Hartford.

He was born July 9, 1895, in Nenno, Wis., the son of Ambrose and Julia Wolf Zingsheim. He married Catherine Lischka on May 14, 1924 in Hartford.

A veteran of World War I, Mr. Zingsheim farmed in the Town of Theresa all his married life. He moved to Theresa in 1971, and was a member of the Hustisford American Legion Post 420.

Survivors include his wife; Catherine; four sons, Dan of Arizona, Eugene of Chicago,Ill., Philip (Marilyn) and Frederick (Dianne) both of Theresa; four daughters, Mrs. Wilfred (Genevieve) Sof Hustisford, Mrs. HermSof Germantown, Mrs. William Kenealy and Mrs. RoyE, both of Hartford; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Frank and Philip , both of Theresa, Felix of Lomira, and Wendolin of Allenton; four sisters, Mrs. Mathew (Rose) Rohlinger of Lomira, Mrs. Michael (Amelia) Kraus of West Bend, Ms. Marie Zingsheim of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Frank (Theckla) Peters of Allenton.

He was preceded in death by two sons and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.

Funeral services for Mr. Zingsheim will be held Friday from 7 p.m. at the funeral home and at 7:30 p.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa.

Burial will be in the St. Theresa Memorial Garden. There will be a graveside military service at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Philip P. Schulteis, Thomas Kenealy, Bruce Schmidt, Paul P. Schulteis, Neal Ewert and James Zingsheim."

Family Testimonial:   April 2009, By Rita Schulteis, daughter: My father was in training at Camp Hancock, Georgia in August of 1918 and later served in France. His rank was that of private.
