Parade during the 1930s; route south to north on Fond du Lac then probably to Broadway to Main Street to the park. Picture on left from about where Norbert Gierach's home was (200 feet south of Main), view southeast. Picture on right, view north from just south of the Main Street intersection.
Esther (Holl) Schowalter remembers parade participants gathering at the Feed Mill area, then proceeding up Broadway, took a right at the highway to her house at Church Street, then went south on Church Street to Main Street, proceeded east (left) on Main Street to Boyung's Park. Melvin and Edna Seifert's home on the corner of Church Street and the highway is in the background. When the Picnic was held in Firemans'Park, the parade started on the highway at Pleasant Hill, went north to Main Street, took a left on Main to Park Avenue, right on Park Avenue and ended at the park where participant dispersed to enjoy the festivities of the day.
